The term “Bedmaster” refers to the product of the former Excel Medical company of Jupiter, FL. Dr. Richard Crane, who used to be the VP of engineering at Marquette Electronics helped to develop the “Unity” protocol which was a UDP-based data protocol for sending physiological data from ICU monitors to central stations for monitoring.

Excel Medical was acquired by Hillrom in 2017. Hillrom was acquired by Baxter in 2020. The interface capability of the Bedmaster interface is really moot as both major manufacturers of patient monitors: GE Healthcare and Philips have a very similar, if not identical XML feed and thus the Bedmaster interface is no longer necessary.
